Hip Hop dance festival welcomes the international superstars

This year 'The Notorious IBE' will host their 10th edition. Dancers are invited to celebrate this special edition with appearances from the best BBoys & BGirls, Poppers, Lockers from all over the world. Including the Super Cr3w (winners of Americas Best Dance Crew season 2) and the Red Bull BC One All Stars.

The festival has grown to be one of the biggest and most influential Hip Hop Dance festivals worldwide. Each year the festival is visited by more than 8000 people coming from 35 different countries. The festival takes place in the centre of Heerlen, located in the south of the Netherlands.

Because of the 10th edition some program are specially adjusted. For example the organisation will invite a selection of artists who have contributed in any kind of way to previous editions of The Notorious IBE. From the first in 1998 to the latest in 2009. Dancers from the Super Cr3w will be at IBE, as well as the newly formed group dancers called the Red Bull BC One All Stars with Lilou, Cico, Roxrite and more.

Also the festival will host a lot of different program. One of them is the European qualifier for the UK BBoy Championships 2010 World Finals. Two BBoy crews will have a chance to make it through the finals as well as the solo popping for the UK Championship. With 15 different dance competitions, workshops, exhibitions, discussions and more the festival is promised to be one you cannot miss.

The Notorious IBE will also host the official Dutch premiere of Banksys Exit Through the Giftshop. This humoristic documentary gives the viewer an insight into the underground of graffiti and their artists who are followed during the making of their creations. Banksy is an pseudonym for the very talented British Graffiti artist, who's real identity is not confirmed. A documentary with a very surprising plot.

Next to a lot of indoor activities we will also have some outdoor stages to make the festival known. For instance we will have the solo kids battle and a graffiti jam. Make sure you do not miss the 10th edition of The Notorious IBE. History in the making!
